And so…what is the Monday Poll?

Well, it isn't exactly a poll. It's more than of a constantly evolving (devolving?), somewhat random listing of questions I've been putting out to readers every Mon morning for the past 11 (!) years. (It'due south like a kickstart for your brain.) I've ever enjoyed reading your answers in the comments, and I hope you lot enjoy reading mine.

one. Would you rather article of clothing a ballgown or a tuxedo?

Depending on what I'd be doing, I could run across myself wearing either, just I'd rather wear a ballgown. Ballgowns are pretty and fancy and they feel extra special, because how often practise you lot go to vesture a ballgown?

Plus, I love my black stretchy pants considering they're comfy. Merely pants in general — like, regular structured pants — are hard to detect that fit my body shape. I have long legs and a brusque torso, and pants are generally very uncomfortable for me…if they aren't black and stretchy. 🙂

ii. What's the best style you know to offset and keep a good habit?

I'g former school and analog, so I like using a printed calendar and those shiny star stickers that teachers requite kids on their reports.

I like to rails whatever habit I'm trying to build by taking a star, and putting one on each solar day that I practise whatever I'grand supposed to for the goal I'm trying to achieve. Like, if I want to practice at least five times a week for a month, I'll put one of the stars on the calendar whenever I practise a workout.

At that place'due south something satisfying most seeing those stars lined upward on the agenda, and a fundamental function of this is having a reward at the end; otherwise, what'due south the point? Yes, it'southward fun to see the stars build up, but I as well demand to exist working toward something, like a pair of new shoes, a facial, a small splurge at Sephora.

3. How well do you twerk?

Can I simply respond this question with a bunch of old lady grayness hair emojis? ?????? Because I'm not exactly sure what twerking is… It's freaking, right? Well, that'southward what we used to call it dorsum in my twenty-four hours.

Then, I don't know how to respond this question…but I've got decent hip action, so I'm gonna say, "pretty well," although I'chiliad not sure I've ever washed it before.

4. What was the final live play/concert/testify you lot went to?

It'south been a while. The last live consequence I went to was a prove in the city with my friends Jen and Cindy terminal year. We watched Roman Holiday, the musical interpretation of the Audrey Hepburn film.

To be honest, I fell asleep, but that's non uncommon for me in night rooms these days. Even in the middle of the day.

v. A makeup item you loved that was sadly discontinued?

MAC Matchmaster Concealer. Information technology was (I all the same take a stick left, and I'm cherishing that stick) the best under-center concealer if you have dry skin under your eyes. It sits incredibly well, doesn't await heavy and has a slight sheen, so the coverage doesn't expect matte or, allow'south be honest, crusty.

I'm really crabby about it going off into the black hole of discontinued MAC products…

And while we're at it, Coffee Eye Pencil… It was THE Best basic brown liner.

This is random, but you know what identify is poppin' on a Sunday Morning?

(I realize that this is Monday, simply I just figured this out yesterday.)

Trader Joe'southward is really poppin' at nine a.g. on Sunday. There'south nobody there. No lines, and no crazy people trying to mow you down with their cart, although there was one lady who freakin' tried to mow me downward when I was in front of the olives, and I was about to tell her to slow her coil, but then I was just similar, you know what? Have a breath. It's gonna be OK.

So, next Sunday you know where to find me.

And you know where I am now. 🙂 I'thousand chilling in front end of my computer, counting downward the seconds before the infant wakes up.

BTW, did your squad win yesterday? Tabs was happy to come across the Eagles pull information technology off. As for me, I'm more most the snacks than the actual game. Nosotros had hot dogs, TJ'southward onion dip and potato chips, and I too got some frozen garlic fries from TJ's that were alright.
